Free Returns via Royal Mail
You can return unwanted items up to 35 days after purchase.
Items must:
- Be unused and in their original condition (including all labels and tags intact)
- Not contain personal data or have been manufacturer-registered (for phones, tablets, computers, etc)
- There are some items that we can't return or exchange unless faulty. Read our return policy to find out more
Use if returning:
- johnlewis.com orders
- Parcel must be 61x46cm or smaller and weigh less than 15kg
How to return
- Fill out the returns section on the front of your delivery note
- Attach the Royal Mail returns label from your delivery note to your parcel, making sure you've removed the original address label
- Package your parcel securely with the delivery note inside
- Take your parcel to the Post Office (find your nearest branch here)
- Please ensure you ask for proof of postage and retain this as it provides your unique tracking number

Track your return
Your refund can take up to 2 weeks
How returns are processed:
- It can take up to 7 days for your item to reach our returns centre
- Once we've received your item, we will check and process it. This normally takes up to 2 days, depending on how many returns we are dealing with. We'll then send you a Return Processed email.
- Your refund should appear in your account within 5 days of the Return Processed email.
